I've had the pleasure of trying several type of media with my Canon i9900. There are some very good papers out there, but with the consistent results from my prints using Classic Pearl as well as the positive feedback I've received from my clients, I can easily recommend this paper for all your portrait needs. The downloadable profiles are an excellent bonus and handle color very well from my print manager. Setup is quick and painless. I can only recommend that your experiment with as many papers as you can find, but please do yourself a favor and include Ilford Classic Pearl in your research. I think you will be pleased with the results.

The Classic Galerie Pearl is fantastic! I use 8 1/2 X 11, 11 X 17 and 13 X 19 inch in my HP PHotosmart 8750 printer. The paper is wonderful for both color and simply amazing for Black and White. This paper can only be used in dye ink printers, not pigment ink printers. The quick dry smooth pearl paper can be used for pigment printers. I have an Omega D-3 4 X 5 Autofocus Photo Enlarger and a Durst 6 X 6 CM Enlarger. I no longer need them since my digital work now matches and even exceeds my wet darkroom work! I don't think there is a finer paper anywhere--I tried several other brands and state without reservation that this is the paper to use. If you use this paper you need to treat it like exibition quality photo paper in processing--I air dry my prints using screens.

I need to print pictures off the internet with a Canon i9900 dye ink jet printer. I prayed to God to help me find good paper, and God's recommendation was Ilford Classic Pearl. I am stunned at the results. The print outs make one's eyes want to pop out. I can't imagine better results. The paper is just superb. Its look and feel is like a lab print, and the finish on the paper is very professional. This is a pro product, and priced like one. It wouldn't be worth buying for anything but a photo quality, dye ink jet printer.

I'm a professional photographer, and one thing I've always had problems with is finding a digital paper that works as good as film paper. I use Ilford for my film work, so I thought I'd try this paper for digital work, and I love it. It's still not 100% like photo paper, but it's real close. I recommend using an Epson printer for best results. If you can find an old Epson 1280, you'll be very happy with how that printer works with this paper.

Wow! This paper is great. It looks and performs just like Epson Colorlife paper (which is no longer available).

I first found this product in a camera shop I liked it so much that I searched the internet to find a better price. I bought the paper for about half the price as tha camera shop. This paper gives a professional looking print using the HP Photosmart C5180 all-in-one printer.

I use this paper to print my photos taken with Nikon's D2x, D-200 and Fuji S-2 Pro on a Canon i9900 printer. The results are quite similar to classic chemical process Ilford papers. The texture of the paper's finish is of the highest quality and the feel is just as with resin based papers. I am very pleased with this product.

I've been using this paper for home printing of pictures for two years...never disappointed...works great with my HP printer. Highly recommend!

I am just a home hobbyist and I do not have fancy equipment. This paper just makes me look like I do. I love the finish and the qualtiy of the photo. It dries very quickly...I am a scrapbooker and like to use the photo immediatley. I have been using this product for years and have recommended it many times.
