This is a great 3-in-1 book, with different age characters in each story. They are all extremely fun to read, and a relief from the 'daily grind!' It's nice to be able to relax after a long day, read for a little while before bed, and go to sleep with a nice story line still lingering. No tenseness, stress or immorality--just great reading! Thank you--I'll be back! Sandra Day

Illinois Weddings is a joy to read. Following the lives of three generations of women in this three-in-one collection, Becky Melby and Cathy Wienke create characters that are both believable and likable. The first story describes Angel, the youngest of the women. Facing tremendous real-life challenges, she is an inspiration to those trying to find a Christian moral "compass" in today's society. Jeanie is highlighted in the second book, and her courage facing difficult past life choices is heartbreaking. The third book details Ruby's story, the feisty matriarch of the family who is trying to find her place in a changing world. All three stories offer redemption and forgiveness, and highlight God's ultimate grace in all situations. And, of course, there is plenty of tender romance peppered throughout the entire book.

In all honesty, I haven't even finished the book, but wanted to come encourage everyone who loves good Christian romance to read this book. This is the best book I've read in quite some time! The authors have created real women with the same struggles, pitfalls and choices that we all have, but show the real hope and joy we can have in the Lord! I could barely read the last few pages of the first story because of the tears flowing. Also enjoyed learning more about the Pacific Gardens Mission.

This is my favorite book by the authors Becky Melby and Cathy Weinke. (so far) I read one book each night.(there are three stories in the book)What really made the stories enjoyable are the three feisty women characters. This is a must read for people who believe in second chances you will not be disappointed.
