I have used several low discharge AA and AAA batteries including Sanyo Eneloop and Spectrum batteries like Rayovac Hybrid. The Sanyo Eneloop were reigning supreme until these came along. These seem to blow them out of the water. Mine arrived rather chilled from a UPS truck in Minnesota. My ZTS battery tester read them cold at 100%. These things peform well warm as well ... which is a major improvement over the others. Further, they offer a strong 2100mAh rating and I find this a bit conservative with my C9000 charger in break-in mode. At the promised 85% capacity after one year, no other low self discharge battery out there can compete. What can I say? These are MAHA Powerex batteries!

I've been using rechargeable AA batteries for quite a while in my Nikon CP990 and have been a fan of Maha brand batteries since the beginning. I upgraded as new and stronger models came out, each with the ability to last longer and longer...however up until the Imedion the increase in performance was incremental and the discharge rate over time seemed about the same.

Well those days are over, the Imedion brand is more than different by the slick re-branding and new name, it actually significantly out performs the previous Maha batteries I've used and to top it off the discharge rate is much slower. Where with the previous batteries I'd be lucky if I can spend 5 shooting days before needing to recharge; with the Imedion 2100 I can double that time! It is quite liberating not to have the camera die on me just when I want to take a shot, I recommend these to any one using a digital camera and I am sure they'd be awesome as well in remote controls and the toys of children. A great product from Maha, highest recommendation!

Use these batteries every day. Recharge them every time we use them professionally. they just keep on working. We shoot probably 10,000 shots (no kidding) with the batteries in a year and then buy new ones.

If you find yourself going through Alkaline batteries and spending a fortune, it is time to convert to Hybrid NiMH. Imedion batteries are kind of a combination of Alkaline and Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH). If you have used regular NiMH (not hybrid) in the past, you might have asked yourself why did I waste my money because they discharge so fast when not being used. Hybrid NiMH are completely different: they will hold a charge when not in use, so you can have spares ready to go into a device when you need them. These do not have memory effect like NiCd. All in all a good battery. Comparable to Eneloop, but cheaper and have more power. BE CAREFUL: there are some devices that require the full power of an Alkaline battery and won't work with these.

Using my Lacrosee BC-700 battery charge/test function, the 4 "AAA" batteries performed as follows:

Battery 1 = 913 mAh
Battery 2 = 901 mAh
Battery 3 = 894 mAh
Battery 4 = 942 mAh

All packs a lot of juice compared with other comparable brands, and even slightly higher than Eneloop and Duracell.

Although, Duracell and Eneloop rate their batteries only 800mAh but perform better on tests, Imedion rates their batteries as 950mAh, but in my actual test performed lower as shown on above results.

Imedion is from Maha Energy Corporation. They also make 9V, C and d pre-charged batteries under the label Imedion.

This product is advertised to include a plastic holder with the batteries. The holder would be convenient for storing or carrying the batteries. There was no holder included as advertised. The only solution offered by Amazon to resolve the missing holder was to return the entire order for a refund.

Don't expect to receive the holder that is advertised!

Ultra low discharge, lasts months in a camera. Nice to grab the camera when you need it, and its ready to go!

I use these batteries for a digital camera. These low discharge batteries do have a good life. I have taken them on a vacation and they easily last for three days (taking pictures, reviewing and deleting), however I will bring the battery charger and the second set of batteries as a back up. It should be noted that with three different digital cameras I have used, I noticed that when the data is being saved to the card, the camera with any rechargeable battery is a little slower than with alkaline batteries, but having the long life is better.
