The Impecca is "impeccable" as they state and it's true! This frame is so easy to use, insert your media stick, turn on the switch and VOILA...you have an instant slide show. Unlike other brands that ask you to select the media, i.e. slides or movies, etc. then make you walk through 3 more steps BEFORE the slide show starts, this Impecca "starts instantly"! My only slight issue with it...is that sometimes it won't "start" with the remote control...thus necessatating lifting up the frame and turning "off" the switch...and then turning it back "on"...a minor annoyance! Also I wish they had put the switch on the side...rather than the bottom.

Don't waste your time with other digital frames...go for this one! Very user friendly! Also I purchased the 15" screen size...smaller screens just don't have the "punch" and "effect" like this frame does...so go for the 15" screen! Bright, sharp, clear and the random transitions for slides is a plus!

I've had my Impecca 15" frame for 6 months now and haven't had any issues at all. It runs in my office 5 days a week from 8:00 - 5:00 and works flawlessly. My photos look sharp and the color and contrast look great. Will be buying another one to use at home.

This is my first digital frame but it has been easy to use, has a great storage capacity, and a clear picture. It sometimes freezes but I turn it off and back on and it is then fine.

I bought the Impecca DFM 1512 15" Digital Frame in August 2010. It is great except it freezes on random frame changes and has to be turned on and off several times a day to get it to work. I notice that others have had this problem. Two Emails have been sent over 4-6 weeks time to customer service and they do not respond. If you want the frame, do not count on any support from the company.

I returned a Viewsonic 15 inch monitor to get this Impecca because it (the Viewsonic) had no brightness/contrast controls and would not randomly select photos. The performance and features of the Impecca are however excellent. It is a really nice looking frame with not too much frame and too little picture. Screen clarity is superb on high def jpeg's. It has the capability to adjust brightness, contrast and depth of color, random or other selection of photos, 2 GB built in memory, ability to play MP3 sound files and MPEG 1/2/4 videos. It worked right out of the box, I just plugged in a SDHC card and off we went into the slide show mode. I just recently put a lot more photos and sound files on an 8GB SDHC card. Same response, it just started up and played the files. I give it 5 stars but say its nearly perfect, so what's the problem?
The problems are that the manual is poorly written, difficult to understand, too brief and there are undocumented features. The zoom feature (another great feature by the way) can be adjusted so that the area of the photo to be zoomed can be selected with the up/down/sideways buttons on the remote. The "enter" button on the remote can be used to rotate the picture by ninety degrees (again a great feature right?) but not documented. After rotating 360 degrees, the picture on screen will remain until the "slide show" button is pressed again. So if you want to stop the slide show and keep a nice picture on screen for a while, press the enter button 4 times. Not documented.
The inbuilt speakers are by no means "full range" and leave a lot to be desired. If there was an output to send the audio to even an iPod dock, it would be much better sound.
Except for the manual and the speakers, this thing would be perfect. If it had those characteristics improved, it would get 6 stars. As it is, it looks so good and is so far ahead of other frames I've seen, I couldn't do anything else but give it 5 stars.

So far this is a superb product. This is my second frame and it's so much better than the first one. Just start it and it enters slideshow mode. I was looking for a large frame with a random/shuffle mode and it wasn't easy to find one with good reviews. So if you're looking for the same thing I did, then I absolutely recommend this product.

This frame produced lovely pictures, but I couldn't figure out how to change the order in which they showed. I ultimately loaded them all back on my computer, renamed them to have them appear in order by Windows, and loaded them back, and they still didn't start with the picture I wanted first. However, they did cycle in the chronological order I wanted. Other than that I was very satisfied. The frame holds a huge number of photos, and the quality is excellent.

I've had several digital frames and thought with this I'd finally found "the one". However, after several days of use and experimentation I discovered the following and ended up returning it:
- Certain transition effects do not work, and end up defaulting to 'random' transition.
- The biggest deal killer for me was that there is only a choice of slide duration of slow, medium, fast. Even at 'slow' it only keeps the picture displayed for about 15 seconds before moving to the next picture. This is very distracting if you have it in the kitchen or somewhere that you're trying to have a conversation with the family, and every 15 seconds everyone looks up to see what the next picture is.
- It was very erratic in retaining the settings.

Its display quality is very good, with lots of control over brightness, contrast, and color. I would have kept it if only the slide duration could have been set to a lengthier setting.

This 15" frame provides for ideal 8"x10" photographs. It's easy to load and operate. Blues, reds and greens are very vibrant. Only the blacks are a bit too black so that dark photos will appear even darker. When set to slideshow, each photographs moves into the frame via a different angle and mode, which makes watching this slide show mesmerizing.

You have the option of three different memory sticks to use for viewing: SD, MC CF, USB (my preference).
You can add music, videos...the options are amazing and for this price this is a great deal.

This frame would make a great gift for a photographer.

I bought this digital photo frame for my Dad after we lost my Mom to cancer. I loaded it with all of our best pictures of her and gave it to him for his birthday. He absolutely loves it - every day he chooses a new picture to display and he has added many more to the initial set that I pre-loaded. He's 80 and technophobic, so if he can use it, anyone can. I liked it so much I bought myself one as well and loaded it with all my best shots from a recent trip to Israel. It's easy to use and the clarity is great. I like that it can display pictures both portrait and landscape, and that it can display videos as well. It can act as a static frame or do a slideshow and it's got a good sized internal memory too. I have no complaints, we both love it.
