A great product for simple things but...,

I bought this software with the following in my mind: "I need a program that asks me some simple question about the shed I want to build and will do the design for me". And in that respect, the program worked just great. It has a shed wizard that does just that and the result is spectacular.
BUT... I wanted to add a window to my shed (do I ask for too much?). Well... It was not easy and after doing this the window did not show up in my list of material. I wanted to put dimensions on my drawing and they all look... odd and out of place. You also can't have a mix of dimensions between feet and inches... Now please take all these comments with a grain of salt. I never used a DesignCAD product in my entire life.

This program was not worth the money I spent on it. It is very limited in what you can do with the program.

a waste of money,
This review is from: Instant Shed & Shop Design (CD-ROM)
this software hasn't been updated in 5 years. it has bugs that are immediately apparent when trying to use the shed wizard (you tell it you don't want a rear door and it adds one anyway). it is seriously limited in that you can only add 1 window per wall.
the list of issues is long. the CAD program it's built with is 5 major releases behind the current version. the company's online 'support' is what you'd have expected of an online presence 10 years ago. trying to send an email for support is next to useless and requesting a refund is worse. save yourself some aggravation and don't bother.
