I bought these speakers for my sons car along with a new deck (50wx4). We installed them with the stock wiring and with the new deck, and were not impressed. They basically sounded much like the stock speakers. We then hooked up an amp to run these and the door speakers and they now perform great! Now they have much more kick and bass to them. If you don't have an amp to run them and just want to upgrade your stock speakers, I would not recommend these or you may be dissapointed.
