I upgraded my pump on my 15'x42" Intex pool, but when I received the pump, I could not connect it due to the difference in hose sizes. So I started researching and found I had to have conversion adapters. I was not happy because had I known this, I would have ordered everything at the same time.

So I found the conversion adapters on Amazon and ordered them. They came in a timely fashion and were reasonably priced. The conversion adapters were easy to install and had the pump up & running in minutes. Thanks!

If you buy the Intex Krystal Clear Saltwater System and Filter Pump

then you do not need to buy these hose conversion adapters. I bought these mainly because I wasn't sure if they were included in the saltwater system and filter pump.

They are, so don't spend your money on the adapters.

If you need them simply to replace broken adapters that you already have, these are exactly what you need.

these hose adapters are very nice and sturdy and work well. the rubber makes it water tight and they sure work better than hose clamps

I purchased the 1500gph pump and as indicated I also got the hose conversion adapters but there is no diagram to show me how to install. I can usually figure these things out, but can someone tell me exactly how they attach to the pool?

This product only works on pools 16' and smaller. I attempted to put this on my 18' pool and it snapped the product immediately. You must have a 1-1/4" diameter hose connector.
