The difference between this filter and the "other" filter would be the paper of this filter is a little flimsy. When you rinse off this filter, it takes a little longer to clean because the paper bends a little. But on the other hand, I do not see any difference on the performance side, which is what I am really looking for. I would recommend this product.

These filters are awesome and the price was even better, I had been buying these from a pool store recently at 10.00 for a single filter (I will never do that anymore).

I ordered these filters for my pool on a Tuesday and received them at my door on Thursday!!! The price is wonderful and shipping was reliable and fast! If you are considering these Type A filters, go for it!!!

Pool filters are a good product to buy online. They can't go bad and you'll need more eventually. Makes good financial sense to buy in bulk.

My item was received before the estimated time of arrival, in exactly the condition as described. I needed this item in bulk at a reasonable price, this was a killer deal and was delivered directly to my door with no shipping fees.

Ordered online for pool and two days later using in the filter! Thats the way I like to do business.

There are the original Intex filters that came w/ my pool/pump, not the cheap (and I don't mean price) A/C replacement filters that you buy at the big discount store. I had been buying those (@ $5 a piece) and they only lasted a few days. The paper got all brown and no matter how often I washed them out - they just didn't last. Plus the chemicals (I used the tablets you drop down inside the filter) didn't disperse as well.

These filters are great. They are a heavier paper. I rinse the filter off everyday (to get the bugs/debris out) and the filter will last at least a week. The chemicals disperse much more evenly.

These 12 packs make the filters much less expensive that the cheaper ones at the discount store. I will continue to buy these, although as long as these are lasting, I'll still have some of these left over to start using next spring.
