A workaround that will allow play on many DVD players is:
Start disc 2 and click on Wacken 2007.
Select audio preference (5.1 or stereo) but do not hit play.
Hit your STOP button and then hit PLAY. When it comes back on you should have sound.
I have 3 out of 7 DVD players that play the disc with no problem.
Of the other 4 this fix worked on 3, only my Toshiba 5 disc carousel still refuses to play the audio.
This fix was given to me by a customer who was determined to get his player to play it and he did within 24 hours.

this is a great dvd set from dimmu borgir. it is loaded with live footage, behind the scenes stuff and videos. the only problem i have is that on disc 2 the live wacken show has no sound. i'll be taking my copy back to get it replaced. i hope that this doesn't happen on all copies because the wacken footage LOOKS great. if the sound was there, this dvd would get 5 stars easily
UPDATE : NUCLEAR BLAST IS RECALLING ALL OF THE DVDS. THEY TOLD ME TO SEND IT BACK TO WHERE I BOUGHT IT TO GET A REFUND. THEY ARE PLANNING ON RERELEASING IT LATER WITH COPIES THAT WORK.

If you enjoy black metal or dimmu borgir i think you would enjoy this dvd set. comes with 2 dvd and 1 live cd. (mine did)
I own their last dvd set and i also enjoyed that set. i think this rates right up there with their last dvd. but... if i had to be picky:
well right of the back... u have to mention the problem with disc2 audio.. um its not there :p and yes i tried the little trick and what that does on my pioneer dvd player is.. when i select the audio and hit stop when i bring it back im still at the menu or it will still have no audio.. so im still workin on that one.. idk :p
also.. i noticed you can hear the bass and drums EXCELLENT. sounds great. but at times u have a lil time hearing the guitar playing. i mean its not crappy or anything. but im just being critical. also u get to hear vortex's singing much better on this one and he does a great job on backup vocals.
all together . its a great dvd set. of course the new album but with some old goodies , which i enjoyed.
i payed about 20 bux for mine and thought it was worth it. :) hope you enjoy. :)

I just got this DVD last night and it's really great, disc 1 has a set list mainly from their most recent CDs, and disc 2 has a lot of videos and the live performance is actually a lot of their older stuff. There really is a lot for every Dimmu fan.
Some people said they were having problems with the sound coming on disc 2's live stuff but I played the DVD on an xbox 360 and had no troubles yet. Really great DVD and I recommend it to all Dimmu fans.

I thought this price a bit steep for a DVD, but got the three disc/wonderful artwork package and wasn't dissapointed. The live performances are kind of dark - I wish that there had been more light to see the members of the band, but then again I am female so this may be my own personal/female opinion. But anyway, no regrets in getting this. Dimmu is always excellent, and this continues to prove it.

Dvd arrived quickly. Item was brand new. Item was well packaged. I am pleased with this product.

The first disc is a concert disc featuring a concert from Oslo on tour in 2007. Good sound, good gig, good camera work. Lots of extras, though the behind the scenes stuff is just really drunk people filming other drunk people doing not so interesting drunk things. The second disc apparently does not play the audio for most folk on their stand alone DVD players. Playing it on the iMac worked flawlessly as it does on a PC using the media player. Hopefully they fix this in future editions. The Wacken show here though is incredible as well. The third disc is a CD of live session for apparently a TV show of some kind... also amazing. There are all their videos and a few photos and things thrown in as well. So it's two huge thumbs up, with the warning that the second disc probably will have no sound on a regular DVD player.

Excellent overall, glad to see all the videos in one spot; the bonus audio live cd is great. High quality package (even lyrics to the songs), but what is the deal with that live show? (No audio through tv or stereo speakers?!) Haven't tried pc yet, but if there are unusual specifications, etc they need to state that on the package! Still an excellent product.

This dvd features live performances from Dimmu in Germany, England... and it's all excellent, the indoors concert sounds awesome, and wacken sounds very good even though it's in open air.

About the issues in disc 2, don't even wary about it. Instead of selecting waken 2007 from the main menu and then pressing play show in 5.1 or play show in stereo; just hit the "next" button in the main menu and the dvd will go to the first scene of wacken with sound. Another option is playing it in your computer, VLC and WMP worked well, but I don't like watching concerts in my pc... DIfferent from other users, I didn't find it necessary to drop points for the disc 2 issues, cause I got it to sound with minimal effort, 10-15 seconds after I popped the disc.

I recommend this dvd to all dimmu and black metal fans... In the indoors concert in the first cd, when they started playing Progenies of the Great Apocalypse, I got goosebumps all over LOL
