5.0 out of 5 stars Great screen protector, for a number of reasons September 30, 2012
By Jerry

This is a great screen protector for the Kindle Fire HD. I purchased for two reasons: Anti-glare, even with its supposed anti-glare screen technology, the Kindle Fire HD still projects a reflection. Protection, Gorilla glass might stand up to a gorilla, but its no match for my 6 year old. I like the Invellop product for a few reasons:

1. Anti-glare minus the distortion: This is not the first anti-glare screen protector I've installed. They all tend distort the screen resolution slightly. This seems to be an unavoidable side effect of the anti-glare effect. Compared to other ant-glare protectors I've installed, Invellop Kindle Fire HD seems to distort less. Picture acuity is still crisp and the anti-glare distortion effect is minimal if not unnoticeable.

2. Sturdy: The protector is not flimsy like some others I've purchased for other devices that are more like celophane. The Invellop protector is stiffer. It is pliable but wont kink or crease, which makes for easy installation and resistance to scratching on the protector itself once installed.

3. Installation ease: Really could not have been much easier. It is the standard two screen application process where you peel one side to expose the tacky side that is applied to the Kindle, smooth out the bubbles, then peel the second side to expose the finished product. What I really like about Invellop is that the tacky side is not too tacky. after applying it initially, I got a few dust particles in the middle of the screen. I was able to peel the protector back up, remove the dust particles from the tacky side of the film with a finger nail, then reapply with no problem. On many other products, this would render the protector unusable and you have to start with a new one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very happy with the screen protector. September 19, 2012

I received my screen protector today and must say it's the best one I've purchased! I don't' know if the instructions were recently changed but I had absolutely no trouble putting the film in place. I liked that the screen protector is a little smaller (1mm on each side) than the actual screen so that gives you just enough room to maneuver it into place. The Anti-Glare film is its best feature by far. I've tried other protectors that claim to be Anti-Glare but they don't even come close to the performance of this product. I read another review that mentioned the protector makes the screen look just like the bare screen... it does!!. I would recommend this brand/style to anyone looking for a virtually "invisible" screen protector for their Kindle. Also there is 3 screen protectors, so of you mess up on first you have 2 more to try.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfict fit! October 2, 2012
Verified Purchase
I've had my Kindle Fire for almost 2 weeks now and delayed ordering the screen protectors. They came in on time and application was easy. For the low price, I got the three protectors, a screen cloth, bubble card....all in a small envelope.
I didn't get it on perfectly; the circle small open circle that goes around the camera was covered with a tiny bit of plastic. Removing it again to repply was easy, though I had to be careful not to contaminate that side. The 2nd application went much smoother and all the air bubbles are out. The screen protector itself has a soft, smoooth feel to it and doesn't absorb fingerprints!
As for being anti-glare, not completely. It reduces it greatly, but strong light nearby can show up on it. Now if I hold it a certain way, it has almost a mirror-like look to it when the screen is OFF. When it is ON, it looks great and the ceiling fan light above me, will show up if I keep it at the right angle.
NOTE: During application, the protector covers themselves (those pieces you peel off) might get scratched and all, but that's to keep the protector covered. I saw a few scratches on them, but NOTHING on the protector.
Major bonus for price and three protectors!

1.0 out of 5 stars Not Happy at All January 1, 2013

Have put on plenty of screen protectors without issue over the years. Followed their video and advice right down to using a clean bathroom after a shower so moisture in the air would settle dust. Application of each of the 3 protectors had a problem with a dust particle. Realized that the particles were probably there to begin with, but of course since there ia s ticky side it impossible to get it off.

1.0 out of 5 stars not worth the cost or effort February 1, 2013
Verified Purchase
I'm reevaluating this screen protector as extremely poor. I was unable to install without bubbles and dust. BUT worse than that, once it was installed the touch screen was not properly accessible - with the screen randomly not reacting to my fingertip or stylus and screens and apps periodically opening and closing with no input. Came back and ordered the Boxwave Screen Protector. I know they work properly.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not ideal for constant use November 3, 2012
By Alex
Verified Purchase
First off, it was pretty tough to apply without getting bubbles. Thank goodness there are 3. Also, it doesn't actually stop glare, but it sort of diffuses it so it looks more like foggy light (if that makes sense). It's easier to use in sunlight, but it just seems weird. Also, the filter does not have a very plasticy or glassy feel to it. It feels almost like paper.

My main issue with it is that with the case that goes with my kfhd, there are already scratch marks on the protector after a couple of days. Very heavy scratches too and in splotches. I have no idea how this happened, I'm thinking it was the case that scratched it up. Regardless, I don't think the protector should scratch this easily.
