My 4 year old daughter received this for her birthday. Even through intensive coloring, the book and the marker held up and kept her quiet and entertained for several hours in the car. A great find!

My wife and I don't play DVD's when we make road trips with our elementary aged kids. We opt for activities that stimulate thinking rather than suppress it. My son had fun with this.
