Saved my life
I was frantically looking for a way to recover my lost pictures on google and found a reference for Search and Recover 2 on the PC Magazine site. I didn't even think it was possible! I downloaded the trial version from iolo.com and it recovered the 3 pictures I needed plus showed me more files I had thought were gone forever. Awesome! Thank you iolo. I am going to buy...

Waste of Time
Another piece of software that's long on promises but short on performance. Tried a variety of packages to try to recover files from a hard disk crash. Search and Recover 2 is just for deleted files, not lost or overwritten files. There are plenty of shareware programs to find files you flushed from your recycle bin. Don't waste your money on this.

Great product- but get it bundled in System Mechanic Pro,

This is a great product that will recover files not only on your hard drive, but also in your camera and memory stick. It also has an "incinerate" feature to truly destroy files. However, you will get more for your money if you buy IOLO System Mechanic Pro- it contains Search and Recover 2 as well as Kapersky Firewall and Antivirus and a few other useful utilities. Just don't use the disk defragmenter that comes with it- it sucks!

S&R2 is great at recovering and shredding files; that is, unless they are on an Iomega Rev 35 drive. S&R2 does not recognize the Rev 35 . . .
