I do not have that many cards but I just hate retyping them... retyping 10 cards is a waste of time and I have dozens...I purchased this product with a "try and see" attitude (I am sincerely a tough customer to please when it comes to theses types of technologies) but I really am very satisfied with this product, not only because it does what it says it does but also because of the special advantages. I discovered this little scanner also scan pictures! I scanned ALL my 4X6 pictures in Photoshop in half the time of a regular flatbed! Very nice product! At this price, it is a no brainer!

I purchased the item because I work for a company that deals with a lot of other companies and getting business cards is a large part of the communication. I thought it would streamline the process. It would but the unit keeps crashing. I would enter 20 or 30 business cards, write all the contact information in and then the next time I go to access it, it won't let me in. I get an error message. I've tried to get in touch with IRIS and get it resolved but they don't respond. Very dissapointed.

This product rocks! I attend trade shows quite frequently and have needed a business card scanner for awhile. The IBCR is a great tool which makes it easy for me to organize and maintain my contact database. I no longer have stacks of cards sitting around in my way on my desk because they are in my computer and just a click away. I've also used the scanner to scan color photographs and it's worked great for that as well. I have had no problems with the scanner working with XP, it's worked nicely for me.
