This is useful and works fine for the price... I use this daily to scoop my pup's food and it works for that but I wish the handle were solid because what happens sometimes is food gets in the handle part and when I tip it over to her food bowl, some kibble from the handle rolls away, missing the bowl. Totally can deal with it and use it, but something to be aware of.

We buy our dog food, cat food and cat litter in bulk to save money and store them in the Vittles Vault II 40-Pound Clear Base Cranite Top. This scoop is a tiny bit large for those particular containers, you have to tip it back a bit to get it out, but it's not a big deal. Our dog is on a diet, so having the measurements on the scoop is extremely helpful. It's made of durable plastic, this won't break if you drop it. It's a great little scoop, especially considering the low low price and free shipping. Worth it!

Helpful in measuring our puppy's food. Problem was, the handle is too long to pull it cleanly through the top of our dog food container (vittle vault) so we have to tilt it and some food falls out. I would suggest to others with a sealable container to purchase a scoop that is deeper and not to long. Other than that, great product and perfect for its purpose!

Convenience at a minimal price. I have a large dog food bin in the garage and created one for kitty litter (since I buy both in bulk and prefer to offload the large bags especially since the former can attract mice). Before these I had to remember to take the scoop from my smaller kitchen dog food bin to the garage and back again and now I have scoops for all 3. It's the small things in life that can smooth your daily path. And, with Amazon Prime, free and fast shipping! It doesn't get better than this.

My wife and I bought two. One for our dog food container and another for our cat food container (both are also Iris products). It takes two scoop for the dogs' food, and 1 scoop for the cats' food. The measurements in the scoop would be nice if we needed to use them. Maybe we'll have to resort to that if we need to put our pets on portion control! Scoop is good, sturdy plastic, and is easy to clean.

How do you review a pet food scoop? It's a scoop. No moving parts, sturdy enough for any pet food. Not to scrap ice off your windshield. It's a scoop. I don't remember what I paid for it as it was one of those impulse items as I was buying bowls, toys, beds, leashes, food bin, pooper-scooper (by the way that's a scoop that you can review. It either gets it all and none left for you to walk on, or it's not a scoop). So since I have had it, used it once, and as I now remember, when the dog bowl is empty, I take the bowl to the bin and use it as a scoop. You know what 1 cup or 2 cups of food look like in the bowl. After filling a bowl 2x a day, you don't really need another "scoop". If you mix wet and dry, and I don't, just scoop the dry first. Recommendation is this is a five star scoop, but do you really need it?

Accurately measures food and makes it easy to feed my German Shepherd controlled portions. Seems as if will be durable. I would not have minded a design that has markings for a 1/4 a cup so that feeding really small portions could be done, but I supposed that it might be impractical for a large scoop. Recommended.

The scoop is quite solid... no weak handle. The hard thing about measuring with this is the slope of the scoop makes you put a little more effort into it. I wish there was a quick/easy way for measuring different amounts of food, but for now, this works.

Roughly 2 cups... Haven't verified it, but just right amount for the dog's bowls.
