5.0 out of 5 stars Great chair!
I love this chair, best i've had. Springy, firm, good back height, smooth, ventilated, light, very comfortable for hours at the desk and computer. I'd buy another in a heartbeat.

3.0 out of 5 stars seat height good, but I'd prefer a higher back
I put a piece of twin bedding foam over the top 8 bungie cords in back for more support and then covered the blue bungies with a towel. I also covered the ugly black base with some marble gray easy liner from Duck, which I got from walmart. Seat height - back bungie is 16 1/4" and the highest bungie is 17 1/8". So a 17" seat height claim is about accurate. I don't know...

we bought this chair last summer and I don't regret it one bit...it is so comfortable that no matter how long I'm at the computer my legs do not ache....I'm just now buying a "second"!

5.0 out of 5 stars Supremely comfortable and inexpensive, August 29, 2011
I've used this chair for a few months now, and it is wonderful. It is more comfortable than any other desk chair, at any price, that I've used. One might expect the bungee cords to feel odd, but they provide me a with a very nice seat. Plus, I don't get hot, as I do in some other chairs with padded seats. When I really lean back, the top bar on the back hits my shoulder blades, but I don't lean back enough for this to be an issue. Others who have tried my chair also like it. No regrets about this purchase, and I just hope it holds up for years to come.

4.0 out of 5 stars great chair, August 23, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
my old "office chair" was making me miserable so i finally decided to replace it. i had sat in one of these style chair (may have been the same brand) at a store and really enjoyed it. of course, found it cheaper on amazon.

chair is very comfortable. the bungies kinda form to your body. this model does not recline, which i like because it keeps me sitting upright. the height adjustment is good. it goes a lot higher than i thought it would. however the lowest setting is just right for where i use it.

great chair. i would recommend it to anyone.

4.0 out of 5 stars Bungewe cord office/computer chair, July 4, 2011

This chair is very comfortable. It doesn't bottom out like other chairs that are used for office and computer. Only thing that I miss is that this chair doesn't recline at all and is fixed in the upright position. Other than that, it is a good chair. I gave it four stars out of five only because it can't recline.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great fit for home office, June 27, 2011
Very happy with my purchase. The red is beautiful! After seeing a heavily used one at the Container Store, I know the most wear will be on the seat where abrasion can occur on the bungee cords. I don't see how the cords could be replaced - they are installed with pressed fittings. My dog usually gets on the chairs, but he is wary of the open seat and stays down. Yay! The chair is rated for 220 lbs, but if you are that heavy or if you are wide at the hips, you might not be comfortable on this chair since the cord holders on the sides encroach about 2 inches on the sides and they are not going to flex like the bungees will. For "narrow gauge" people , however, it is a great fit.

5.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable, Simple, June 6, 2011

This is a very simple chair. It does not tilt, lean, lumbar, or have any of the confusing controls that are associated with that. It only has height adjust. This is perfect, as over-complicated chairs rarely increase comfort levels, and are frustrating to use. Not so with this chair, though.

I'm a big guy -- 6'4" 300lbs -- and I have been using this chair as my main desk chair for about two weeks now. It is very comfortable, and I don't have any issues with the size. It doesn't clutter up the office, and there are no armrests to bump against the desk. The construction material is very solid, yet the chair took just 5 minutes to assemble. There were less than 10 parts in total. The bungee cords are surprisingly comfortable and have no issues holding my weight.

I highly recommend this chair for home offices, and will purchase another when we get a second desk.

5.0 out of 5 stars Super comfortable, you NEED this chair!, December 11, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I have the worst problems with office chairs, none of them seem to be made for comfort. The neck rests never hits me in the right spot, that I usually prefer none. This chair is sooo comfortable even without neck support. It is adjustable to just the right I can spend hours at my desk now and not complain. The adjustable mechanism on the chair is smooth. I love how there are no arm rests--something I also disliked in office chairs. Assembly is also a cinch, this is the second bungie chair I have purchased--my husband promptly asked for one when he tried mine! Forget about those terrible leather office chairs, get this one! I will probably be taking this to work since I cannnot stand my office chair.

3.0 out of 5 stars seat height good, but I'd prefer a higher back, November 10, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I don't know why the seat isn't level or flat like another regular office chair I own. Seat width bungie to bungie is 13.75". Back height is 14.5" to the top bungie and about 17" to the metal bar. Seat depth is about 16". Weight max 450 lbs. I'd prefer a higher back and a slightly larger seat with a 17-17.5" seat height. Graphite black is better than black, but I'd prefer a gray frame and base. I did buy a Euro Style high back and the seat height was not as claimed - it was 18.75" and not 17.5". I am in the process of selling that high back. I generally don't trust Euro Style when it comes to seat height or seat width. I got a serious lower back injury from a regular thick foam non-springy office chair, so that's why I'm trying the bungie chairs. My center back also got injured from my high back bungie chair because I used it in a defective state. The back was on crooked due to being defective and the cords pressed too hard into my spine and damaged a disc, which seems to be healing. My center spine area was in frequent pain for 3 weeks. At this point, I believe bungie chairs are safe if used properly, although perhaps wider flat bands in back might be better. I will have to update this once my back heals - it's been 6 weeks of pain so far. So far the bungie chair has not helped my back pain at all, but I'm in pain in any chair.

4.0 out of 5 stars Feels weird but you get used to it, September 17, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
It'll feel like no other chair and will provide ample support. It may "feel" harder than most chairs but will not actually be applying pressure to your butt/back areas in the way a normal chair would. This spreads out the PSI over the entire surface rather than central locations.

Good if you sit for prolonged periods of time. Also, cats will not sit on this chair.
