This book has everything you'll need to pass the ITIL Foundation course. It's clear, concise, it has a cross referenced syllabus, worthwhile sample exams, is easy to carry, and it's affordable. I passed the exam with only this book as a guide, you can too.

I recently took an ITILv3 Foundation Course and to prepare for it I purchased this book and received it two weeks before the class. I have to say everything I was reading up to that time was not preparing me for the course or test. I read the entire book and then the class helped to reinforce everything I had read. Even the test questions were the same or similar to the ones in the course and after 3 days and alot of study of the book and course materials I am now ITSM ITILv3 Foundation certified. I highly reccommend this book to anyone seeking advancement in this area. It's compact and powerful.

This book is an excellent resource that I used as a primary tool to pass the exam. That being said, note its limitations. It is a study guide and other ITIL v3 resources were required to provide in-depth knowledge to adequately address core issues. That is, the study guide provides the summary of details needed to pass, but does not tell the story that explains those details and enables them to be remembered.

This book was a fantastic resource for not only the ITILV3 Foundation exam, but overall just an excellent learning tool that pinpointed specific areas that you should focus on while implementing IT Service Management. I've read through and studied the expanded version of each of the ITILV3 books and this was a great summary of those books that prepped me for the exam. This is a shelf keeper.

A good introduction to service lifecicle world in ITILv3

It has some beatiful diagrams and a good vocabulary definitions in the end. It is well structured, I think it will help me to pass the exam
