5.0 out of 5 stars Very Handy
Customer Video Review     Length:: 2:14 Mins
Very Handy! I bought 3 of them. One for the wallet incase I forget my reading glasses. One as a bookmarker at home. One in my SAS Mini Guide Book in my backpack. I also started a campfire with it.PocketLens, 3"x5-7/8", Clear (ITYPLE) Category: Magnifiers

2.0 out of 5 stars Wears Out Quickly
All of the plastic Fresnel lens magnifiers have the problem of being very easy to scratch. Even stored in a soft plastic sleeve they will become unusable in a couple of months if you carry them in your pocket or in a wallet. They work fine when they're new. If you don't mind replacing them often they're useful.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very thin and very powerful, September 12, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Though I do need things like this or reading glasses for close up things (getting older) these were not the reasons why I bought this product. My underwater video camcorder housing uses a flip out mirror/hood, and it's hard to read the record/pause marker in the viewfinder, so you're always wondering what mode you're in and if you're catching what you want. I wanted a full panel, credit card sized, higher power lens to mount inside the housing to enlarge the display screen. This works great. It is very thin and flexible, so it fits in a wallet and you don't have to worry about breaking it. Since it does not have a light, 95% of the card is viewing area. It is crystal clear and at 3x magnification, it is at least 50% stronger than others on the market. Well worth the price.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works in a pinch, September 30, 2008

It's not easy to get this thing just the right distance between your eyes and the text you are trying to read, but once you do it works well. Great for those times when you don't want to take your glasses with you to the restaurant, etc.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good viewing, September 20, 2009

This magnification credit card is an excellent product. It magnifies even the smallest type, such as that on product labels one might encounter in stores. It fits in your wallet. All this at a remarkably low price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best of 3 Card Magnifiers tried, February 3, 2011

This item provided the clearest image of the 3 different card magnifiers we purchased from Amazon on a single order. The Fresnel grooves are finer and much less visible than the "Bausch & Lomb Sight Savers Magna-Thin Magnifier 2200 2x Magnification" card and the "Card Magnifier 3 5x 55x85mm". This last item is 3.5x and the haziest of the 3 cards.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Pocket Magifier, February 13, 2011

After four lighted packet magnifiers, I was not happy with the light button breaking. This magnifier does not need a light and the viewing area is huge. much better and more durable. even the lens last longer than the other lenses.

This credit card-sized magnifying glass is easy to carry and its magnifying power is more than enough to read menu, labels, etc. Unlike some previous reviewers, I do not find the holding distance difficult to determine because it start magnifying when it is moving away from the prints and the letters remain clear in a reasonable range. In this range, the letter become larger when the distance increases.

This is a handy item to have and its small so can go with you easily. It is overpriced though. The packaging it came in could of been better had it been packaged in more of a cardboard type envelope over a flimsy plastic one. I'm surprised it arrived in ok condition. But all in all I am happy with the product. Just sending along a few suggestions.
