You get what you pay for. The power supply runs incredibly hot, so hot that you don't want to put it on a cloth surface. As with any electronic device that runs this hot it most definitely won't last as long as the original manufacturer power supply. Other than that, it does charge the computer though I would never leave it plugged-in unattended.
