It's like looking into heaven!,
This review is from: IWC Men's IW524205 Portuguese Minute Repeater Gold Watch (Watch)
This watch is fantastic! I can't believe how many people complain that this is overpriced! How can you compare the pure beauty of this to some small problems like money? Let's be honest most of us have at least a $250k leisure budget each year & this easily fits in. If you are trying to save money, buy this watch! Can you measure the importance of being on time always?? Also there are some great features about this that are not listed here. For example, I bought this watch shortly after both of my arms had been lost in a horrible jenga accident. Only a few short weeks after buying this watch, it grew my arms back for me! The back of the watch will slowly open up & the da Vinci code will be revealed to you. It also is powered by yellowcake uranium, which was a small problem at first, but I've got a guy now! So here is the bottom line, I am positive that if you buy this watch you will inherit a small European country, all the models in a 50 mile radius will be throwing themselves on the hood of your Maybach as you speed to the club, unicorns will appear in your servant's quarters, and most importantly people will look to you as a leader, a sign of pure intellect. This watch can also be used for a hearty soup.

It couldn't get any better than this!,
This review is from: IWC Men's IW524205 Portuguese Minute Repeater Gold Watch (Watch)
I misplaced this watch in a box of old junk jewelry. My wife sold this watch for $5 after I broke the crystal. It was collateral for my mortgage. Soon after, my wife left me. She took custody over my kids and left me for this godforsaken diver who she says is a better man than I'll ever be. At first I thought this couldn't get any worse. Without this watch, I couldn't remember the time to take my insulin shots. My diabetes begin to progress and my legs were amputated. I am still lucky that I stole all the treasures from the last Arc and Atlantis when I still had the watch before the bastard could get to it. If only I just didn't crack my crystal when I was time traveling to ride the dinosaurs. I once lent the watch to Guy Pearce, and he traveled 800,000 years into the future. This watch ruined my life. Nevertheless, this was an awesome watch.

This watch is a rip-off. It's nowhere near as nice as the Titanium Zenith that I purchased for only $59,000+ on a gold-box deal last month.Instead, this is a cheap imitation Portuguese watch with precision Austrian movement. I only wear the finest genuine Portuguese watches with Swiss precision. After carefully inspecting the certificate of merit, I realized that this watch was actually assembled by the Azores. Imagine how the silver spoon fell from my mouth onto the ivory rhino horn floor when I realized that I'd been duped. If it isn't assembled by descendants of the Knights Templar within the historical boundaries of Lisbon proper, it just isn't an authentic Portuguese wrist watch. Next time I fly to Vienna to shop for pastries, I'm going to have a little chat with the Office of the Iberian Consulate about this shoddy merchandise. I'd write more, but I have to take Chloe out for the day. We're shopping for ponies. That always lifts her spirits when she misplaces one of her emeralds. She adores them so.

Tells the right time all the time!,
This review is from: IWC Men's IW524205 Portuguese Minute Repeater Gold Watch (Watch)
I was actually deciding between this watch and sending my kid to college, but i thought to myself, my goodness, 12 grand off? you kidding, this was a bargain. So the watch keeps the right time. Been wearing it on Tuesdays and Fridays...its just perfect... I got so hungry, one time i decided to put it in the microwave, and boy oh boy..the watch didnt budge at all. The watch smelled like a good ol pastrami sandwich stuck in my gym socks for around 2.5 months. Was almost tempted to take a bite out of it but then again i remembered i had just paid a whole suit case full of cash for it.
In short, the verdict is, its a very fine timepiece, a chick magnet. I should have owned this watch in high school... This watch, when paired along with Jovan musk(chicks dig the scent)...to all the girls...beware!!! you have been warned... Anyway, I cant live without it. its like no other thing I've ever owned. I'm planning to buy two more of these in the coming months. Thanks amazon, this one's a bargain.

A truly worthwhile indulgence. It's got the nondescript looks of an 80s Soviet hatchback, and the price tag of a starter home in Dallas. Why fund disease research or build a school in a third world country when this dud could be on your wrist?

2 years ago at a flea market i found this watch in a box of old junky jewelry. i almost didnt buy this watch because the crystal was cracked and the band was falling apart. i never bothered to fix the watch but i wear it nearly every day as a deep sea CWI at depths of nearly 500 feet. the only complaint i have is that the watch fogs up during these dives and i have to replace the duct tape i use to hold the worn out band together with each dive. some times while inspecting during a weld process i accidently arc out the case of the watch or spatter will embed itself into the crystal. at one point durring a dive there was so much spatter that the adjustment knob was welded into the body of the watch. this watch is showing alot of wear. i payed $5 for this watch and im thinking maybe i should have listened to my buddy when he said not to wear this watch while working after all it is worth over $50,000.00. anyway i really like wearing the watch.

Proved to be somewhat of a disappointment,

Although we all know that the Portuguese time pieces are by all means more valuable and of much higher quality than the Swiss time pieces, but all in all, this watch has only one truly redeeming quality - its fine leather band. Other than that, I became terribly disappointed about this watch. One day while riding in my Maybach 62S Zeppelin through a poor neighborhood, I noticed something familiar in a store window. It was one of those "discount stores" for people who are too limited-minded to have more money. And a terribly similar-looking watch was "on sale" for $7 right then and there! It had all the same features!
Plus, I soon found out that my IWC time piece has a crystal that sticks too far out and gets scratched all the time as I enter or leave any one of my Maybachs, Koenigseggs and Aston Martins. So now, my IWC looks even cheaper than a $7 piece! Just imagine, how many people of worth saw me wearing what looks like a scratched $7 discount-brand watch! Now, I am too depressed to speak with even my personal psycho-analyst.

best bargain ever!,
This review is from: IWC Men's IW524205 Portuguese Minute Repeater Gold Watch (Watch)
this watch is the best bargain ever! i did have a cheap zenith $70000 watch but this one keeps time so much better. when i saw it was $12000 off the original price i just had to have it. i wear it more than any other of my watches that cost over 50 grand. im going to buy the last 2 that they have in stock soon for my 3 month old neice. her birthday is coming up soon and i decided she needs an upgrade from the plastic baby toys she has been getting- oops i just dropped my new watch in the toilet that im sitting on. i love using my laptop on the toilet. anyway i better get my watch out of the toilet. bye

Perfect to wear with my Zenith Men's 96.0529.4035/51.M Defy Xtreme Tourbillon Titanium Chronograph Watch,
This review is from: IWC Men's IW524205 Portuguese Minute Repeater Gold Watch (Watch)
I wear this on my left wrist with my Zenith Men's 96.0529.4035/51.M Defy Xtreme Tourbillon Titanium Chronograph Watch (see reviews). I keep the IWC set to Dubai time and my DXTTCW on London time. I will likely get a matching set for my right wrist as I just bought a mansion in Beverly Hills and a 3 story penthouse in Tokyo. Of course these are just knock around watches and when I'm out on the town I wear my pair of Patek Philippe's Platinum World Time watches that I bought on Ebay.
