This 17-inch LCD flat-panel TV receives standard broadcast reception, but also delivers high-quality 1,280 x 768 resolution to a host of other devices, such as a personal computer (through the VGA input), game console, DVD player, or VCR. The monitor supports both 4:3 and 16:9 formats, letting viewers watch DVDs in standard and widescreen orientations. And people who simply can't afford to miss the big game while working will delight in the picture-in-picture function, which lets you view one source (computer) on the main screen and a second (movie, game, or TV show) in a small inset window.

The TV tilts upward by 25 degrees and downward by 5 degrees, letting users reposition the device--whether it's located on a TV stand, dresser, or bookshelf--for the best possible picture. Potential locations also include the wall, as the base detaches to reveal a quartet of 4 mm threaded nuts for wall mounting. Once the TV is situated, viewers can enjoy their favorite programs from virtually anywhere in the room thanks to the expansive 160-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles. The monitor also provides quality audio through its pair of 2.5-watt stereo speakers.

The back of the TV reveals a single component video input (for DVD players or satellite tuners), one S-video input, one composite input, a 15-pin VGA connector, and an audio mini-jack output for stereo connection.

I bought this tv a year and a half ago when Costco had it at a very special price. I have been very please; this TV is used in my bedroom and the picture is just terrific. My only complaing is that the remote control is very flimsy and just about impossible to open to insert the battery.

Tv is ok. The problem started when I lost the remote
during a move. Emailed support requesting remote code.
Reply was we "don't know the code" but if you point a
universal remote @ Tv it will learn the code (wrong!).
I decided to call all three phone numbers from web site
do not work. Emailed support requesting a phone number that
works no reply.
Anyone have the code? Pacco has'nt a clue.
