I picked up this book from the library the other day and I have already made a few things already. There are colour photos similar to bill granger's. some people don't like photos, but it helps to make the weekly meal plan.

It's a cookbook that just requires the home cook to make a few little twists to complete the dishes. If you cook with Asian flavours and have a little herb garden, you probably wouldn't need to buy a lot of new strange ingredients.

the book makes a few suggestions as to how you would eat more healthy or adjust them when entertaining. Little Suggestions such as using zucchini instead of pasta seems strange but it was surprisingly satisfying and filling. There are also some more filling meals such as lamb stew and curries that I would like to try for winter.

I thought the book might be over the top and carb rich but this book is for someone that likes to enjoy their meal with a healthy twist and the occasional indulgence.

Some of the meals that interested me are:
Salads
- Vegetable stir fry with miso
- Zucchini napoletana salad
- Quinoa with silver beet (I have and love quinoa)
- Broome Vietnamese salad
- Roasted pumpkin and hazelnut salad
Etc.

Vegetarian
Tastes like chicken salad - was tasty
Frittata
Dhal
Etc.

Seafood (I am allergic to seafood but i can swap some of the fish with chicken)
- miso cod
- beet root cured salmon with fennel salad
- grilled salmon with roasted red capsicum pesto
- Pad Thai 'squid' noodles
Etc.

Poultry
- three day chicken
- cardamom chicken
- chicken larb San choi bao
Etc.

This book is terrific. It's not only a cookbook, but a book that you can see how a wise sports man loves life. I am so amazed that he has such deep knowledge in the nutrition. He knows what is best for a sportsman and what is best for ordinary person. He is not talking the boring nutrition you need to take but he make it an art. He cook such gorgeous and delicious food which is super healthy to human. Also they are very easy to follow and learn home-style cooking. If you are his fans, you can see a lot of nice pics. Various of tastes from east Asian to Indian to western style, he is so skillfully turning those attractive flavor to his own style. Best cookbook forever.

This book helped me make changes on our cooking and eating absolutely painlessly. Quinoa with silver wet is a family favourite, and the not chicken salad was a big hit at a party.
