In "Ian's Ultimate Gamble" we get to know Ian Westmoreland, one of the fine, "make-you-drool" Westmoreland men, up close and personal. A former riverboat casino owner, Ian now owns a posh, luxury casino and resort. Although Ian's worked hard to make his resort the best of the best; he's worked even harder to erase the pain caused by the love of his life - Brooke Chamberlain.

Since Ian left her four years ago, Brooke has maintained the façade of getting on with life. Yet, she's reminded daily that certain aspects of her life as a FBI agent, led to Ian's distrust of her and his subsequent departure. So when her boss asks her to observe Ian's operation for any illegitimate business -- she panics. The idea of spying on her one and only love isn't her idea of the perfect assignment. To make matters worse, the whole idea presents an even bigger problem for Brooke - how to resist him.

This book was wonderful. Although it's a short, quick read (as are most Desire books), Ms. Jackson packs so much sensuality and passion into this book, you can't help but moan aloud. Her trademark oh-so-sexy love scenes left me breathless. It was also nice to catch up on the goings on of the other Westmoreland cousins and wives. I feel like a part of the family. Cha ching....Ms. Jackson hits the jackpot again!

Ian Westmoreland is the proud owner of the Rolling Cascades Casino, one of the newest gambling casinos in Vegas. It boasts an affluent clientele and a security operation second to none. But because the prior owner was jailed for illegal gambling, the FBI wants to do an unofficial investigation of Ian's establishment. One of two agents will be assigned two the case, an intensely dogmatic investigator who is trying to make rank, or Brooke Chamberlain, a former love interest of Ian, one he has gotten out of his system. Guess who gets the assignment?

Brooke dated Ian for a little over three years, and looked out for his best interest, but Ian felt she betrayed him; he severed their ties and moved on. Under the guise of needing R&R, Brooke checks into the Rolling Cascades. She is fully aware that if Ian discovers the real reason she is there, things will erupt like a volcano. Well things do erupt, and not for the reasons either of them thought. But, they have to lay their differences aside, and whatever else is simmering between them, because the casino is the target for a notorious theft ring.

In true Brenda Jackson fashion, IAN'S GAMBLE will ignite readers in a way that is pleasing and rewarding. Again she gives a volatile story, with a touch of suspense. She revisits some favorites from the powerful Westmoreland family and highlights the mystique that surrounds them. This is a provocative read.

Mrs Jackson, you never seem to amaze me. Every book you touch turn to gold. The Westmoreland is a wonderful, well knit family.
Ian sees the woman who broke his heart, right there in his Casino looking like she owns the place. What Ian failed to realize is that Brooke already owns his heart. although he doesn't want to risk trusting Brooke with his heart again, he winds up allowing Brooke to use his priveat swimming pool which leads from one thing to another and Ian eating right out of Brooke's hand.
This is a page turner from begining to end. I have read the story twice, thinking I may have missed something. (LOL)Great story, too short. All of the Westmoreland stories are great but tooooooooooo shore. Could we please add another 20-30 pages (smile). I want more.... Brenda, I know know you are tired, but a little more.... pretty please..... (smile)

I love the cover of this book - the guy is yummy! Good continuation of the Westmoreland series. Nice to read about a natural headed dread sister! Makes a change from the silky long hair stereotypes-lol
One thing I notice why do all the women in this series have to be virgins or only had one lover (who is never as good as the Wesmoreland male) whilst all the men are former playas - not exactly real is it? The fact she never had anyone during the 4 year separation whilst Ian is known as The Perfect End? - mmmmmmm. Anyway great book, nice to catch up on previous characters I look forward to the next one.

Ian, Ian, Iaaaaaaannn! Phew! I don't know how Mrs. J comes up with these men or how she crafts her stories but I'm so glad that she does. Also she created the perfect match to Ian in Brooke. I read this in a day and it was a very good, sweet, tender and HOT story. Also we get to check in on some of the other Westmorelands which is always great. Ok and on a side note the cover model....no words! Definite recommendation along with all of Mrs. J's other books.

I am a big fan of Brenda Jackson,mainly because she writes books that have connecting story lines and I am a big fan of this genre. She is a great story teller and I can't wait until she her next book comes out.

WOW! I'm becoming hooked on these Westomoreland men of Atlanta. I just started reading this series - and "Ian" is the latest. The book was awesome - filled with steamy romance and a good story line. It was nice to catch up on the other family members as well. I can't wait to see whose story is next!

Brenda has a way of telling a story that causes the temperature to rise. As in all here novels, this story is well penned with all the right twists and turns to get you there. Love it.

I enjoyed reading about Ian's and Brooke's love story... It was a great read.... I always like how the author includes the other family members. I am a true fan of the Hot Westmoreland Clan... Keep them coming they are never boring...

All I can say about this story is "OH MY!!!" You will not be able to put this book down. It's a must have and I have read all the Westmoreland Series. You will want to read them all, even to the relatives in Montana and Texas. Please purchase the whole series, you will definately not be sorry.
