About the Author

D. Jeff Burton (BS, MS, PE, CIH) has degrees in mechanical engineering and occupational health. Since 1974 he has participated in hundreds of ventilation design and evaluation projects.

Author of many articles and texts on the subject, Burton is also a member of ASHRAE, ASSE, SSA, ACGIH, and is a Past President of AIHA. He has served on the ACGIH Industrial Ventilation Committee and the ANSI Z9.5 Subcommittee on Lab Ventilation. He was an adjunct Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Utah for the past two decades. --This text refers to the Spiral-bound edition.
