Magic and Fun for Early Chapter Book Readers,
By
This review is from: Ibby's Magic Weekend (Hardcover)
Ibby is sent off to stay with her two boy cousins while her parents have a weekend away. She is a little nervous because she doesn't know them very well. When she gets there, she doesn't have time to be nervous becuse her adventures start right away. Her cousins have just found a magic kit and they are trying out every trick in the kit. Ibby can't believe it because the tricks actually work!
This book is terrific for kids starting chapter books. It has adventure, interesting characters and lots of humor. It is great for boys and girls, even though the title character is a girl. The numerous illustations are very apealing and add to the story. Highly recommended!

A bit of creative fun with a fantasy twist! Trust kids to find something to keep themselves entertained while somehow managing to bring the family back together again. Parents will enjoy reliving specials times they had with cousins growing up.
