Constructed of 100 percent dense-knit New Zealand merino wool, the durable Shak is soft, warm, and breathable, adjusting to keep you at an ideal temperature. The high-quality wool will take years of use and abuse, showing hardly any wear and maintaining its shape, with no tendency to pill, snag, or develop thin spots. The all-natural wool inherently manages interior and exterior moisture, staying warm when wet and keeping you feeling dry and never clammy from the inside. The Shak can be worn for heavy sport and will not hold onto moisture or develop an odor as synthetics do.
This full zipper jacket is easy to layer, and take on and off over layers. Additionally the full zipper allows for excellent heat management. With a semi-fit shape and raglan sleeves with a one-inch cuff, the Shak has classic look that will complement stylish clothes and be sporty at the same time. Flatlock seams offer zero-abrasion comfort and a smooth finish. The jacket is detailed with a zippered stash pocket and interior chin guard. Easy to care for, the Shak is machine washable. With the Shak Full Zip Jacket, the question will not be, when can I wear it? The question will be, when can't I wear it? This versatile and durable jacket will become a staple for travel, sport, and everyday use.

This review is from: Ibex Women's Full Zip Shak (Apparel)
This merino wool jacket is well made. The stitching is flat, the full length zipper is well installed, and the design is flattering. If you don't have any merino wool clothing, this will be the start of a long love affair. It's also warm and built to last. I'm going to get a lot of use of this. I will say this...i really don't care for merino as a first layer against my skin, because it makes me itch. As a second layer this feels great. I'll be hiking, skiing, and taking this one out on the town.
