I bought this game hoping that it would be good since I liked the movie. I'm not into many shooting type games and thought this game might be a nice alternative. Not only did I find it fun and creative, but my friend's kids (age 8 & 10) enjoyed playing it too. It was cute and the funny things that you have to get Scrat to do made us all laugh. The graphics seemed pretty good with this game too. We didn't have too many challenges with the background/scenery getting in the way of zooming and panning the layout.

Although the game does have some downfalls, we all liked getting into it and trying to finish the levels. There are several stories/movie clips that play in between levels. The clips clue you into the plot, if you've never seen Ice Age II the movie, but they also slows things down and can be a bit boring. Luckily you can also skip them, if you want to, by pressing the "A" button. The end was also fairly disappointing. There was no big competition with the "enemies" or any real challenge at all. There was simply a short movie clip and then the credits. Overall it was fun, but don't expect any really hard challenges or fireworks in the end.

i liked this game very much, but i bought it for my kids so i could get some dishes done. but my kids kept getting stuck in the water on the first level many times or it makes you redo levels that are 2 hard-- guess who has to help and still cant do dishes in peace--a little to hard for small kids

I contacted the seller, due to the fact that I ordered Ice age the meltdown for my son xbox. When my son opened his present on Christmas it didn't work for his xbox 360. That's when we realized that the product is for the xbox and not the xbox 360, so I contacted the seller and they said they could not reimburse me for the product because my son had opened it. So I said well I just received this product on 12/23/09 obviously it's still a new game. They responded in a very nasty email (how unprofessional), saying it was my error bla bla bla. I will never order from hitgaming ever again.
