My son has the whole set of these and they are very cute and pretty tough... he is 5 and plays with them alot.

The toy is made of hard plastic. When driven mechanically it wags it tail and sways it's head. Fun to watch. Does not talk though. Does not seem durable. My kid put it down accidentally and the mechanics stopped working.
