Mad Libs are great for teaching...,

children the different parts of language. My 6-year old quickly became proficient at dredging up funny words to appropriately fit the categories of nouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs, etc. The fact that the whole exercise involved Ice Age kept him interested and in stitches the whole time.
