The picture that is used for this product is clearly photoshopped. This arrives rolled up and attempting to get it to lay flat is impossible. This works for about 5 minutes until you walk on it a couple times. Then the snow under the mat gets packed down and the whole rug moves under your feet. I bought two and wasted over $20. Dont make the same mistake.

I really haven't had an opportunity to use it that much. When I had ice on the door steps I was going to try to use it, but it had been rolled up and would not lay down properly and I thought it might be more of a hazard. This next winter I will get ready to use before it is icy.

I thought that this would stop any slipping, however, on a ramp as soon as the snow melts away it becomes lethal and slips out from under your feet, caused my sister to nearly fall on her backside, it slid all the way down the ramp. It only seems to work on packed snow with no ice involved.
