AS AN AVID READER OF DEATHLANDS (YOU'LL KNOW BY MY NICKNAME) I THINK THIS IS A GREAT INSTALLMENT IN THE SERIES. THE GROUP IN ITS EARLY STAGES WHICH MEANS PRE- MILDRED AND DEAN, FINDS ITSELF IN CALIFORNIA AND IN A VILLE THAT PRODUCES GASOLINE. BIKIES FOR SEC MEN AND YOU CAN GUESS THE REST. THIS STORY FEATURES TWO MEMBERS OF THE CLAN ,RICK GINSBERG (A FREEZIE LIKE MILDRED) AND THE HARLOT ,LORI QUINT. I WON'T SPOIL IT BUT THEY BOTH HAVE A BAD DAY. ANOTHER FAVE OF MINE!

I bought the whole deathlands series and the Outlanders series for my husband as a gift a couple years ago.He loved them and actually said they were the best books he had ever read. He had read a whole lot so that is saying something. My husband passed away in Feb so I doubt I be buying anymore of them as they come out. I think of him every time I see one of the books. It is a bitter sweet memory though. I get sad because he is not here, but am happy I bought them for him and he enjoyed them so very much. |
