In-Fisherman's "ICE FISHING SECRETS" is an excellent choice for novice or advanced hard-water anglers. They cover so many topics; from locations to equipment, bait and lures, multiple species, and different types of water patterns. These guys are enthusiasts, and have experienced all facets of the ice fishing game. I don't think any avid ice angler could ever go wrong here. I refer to it numerous times each season, both for information, and pleasant "story-telling" type reading. If you've tried ice fishing, this will help. And if you haven't, this should convince you to give it a go! These experts really "cover" it all, when the grips of winter cover your favorite fishin' spots. The action no longer ends in December. It just heats up!

Great book for all levels (especially beginers), easy to read, and understand! Full of usefull, and current information.Tells you every thing from low money set ups, to high end gear. Tons of good pictures and drawings, and has a complete list of where to buy every item the they talk about in the book. It is written buy guys who fish the Mid-West, but I found it really usefull for here in New England!

One would think there is not much to ice fishing other than digging a hole, dropping some bait down in the water and waiting....NOT TRUE. I have been ice fishing where there are many people fishing and I was the only one catching.... There are very defined habits of the fish you are after and if you dont know this, you will be spending a lot of time on the ice with little success!! This book has all the information you need for a successful day on the ice and for the price, a great value!
