Ice,
This review is from: Ice (Mass Market Paperback)
I loved this book. The book takes you on a voyage from a small, isolated scientific research station in Antarctica, to isolated tragedies, through mysterious occurrences that bring the world to the teetering brink of Nuclear war. And then the world discovers the true nature of the threat.

Thrilling and Chilling,

This book was just great! The realism factor simply kept me intrigued. The story begins when transatlantic cables are inexplicably cut. Russian and American relations reach freezing point when an ocean liner and a soviet submarine go down in a sea like honey. Two scientists soon identify a far greater enemy... which threatens to shake the whole of Manhattan! In this book, ths possibility of how nature can punich those who under-estimate her is vividly shown.

Quick read and engaging. Interesting idea. Product arrived on time, as promised. Book must have been one of original published because pages are yellowed.
