Topics like diinosaurs, worm herders, the Ice Man, and the South Pole time machine will grab the interest of children and provide science information along the way. The index, glossary, further reading and list of web sites makes this a jumping off point for further study of the Antarctic. This title could be used for career exploration, the study of scientists or for just plain adventurous reading. Recommended for elementary students.
