When I buy underwear called "boxer briefs", I do not expect them to physically rest between my cheeks like thong underwear does.

Fits like Boy Shorts, feels like a thong

As a man, I just cannot recommend these boxer briefs to any other man. The inseam is so incredibly short, and the legs ride up so badly that they feel like I'm wearing boy short underwear like my wife wears. Also, if you look at the second picture you can see that the rear seam runs right up the middle. This causes these underwear to seriously ride up your crack no matter what size your rear is (I have none and it still does it). When I buy underwear called "boxer briefs", I do not expect them to physically rest between my cheeks like thong underwear does.
This is a horribly designed pair of underwear and extremely expensive for something made in China.

Fabric is great but the design is not quite right. Unlike some of the other Anatomica boxes from Icebreaker, these bunch or gap at the groin and allow your parts to spill out which requires you to periodically adjust the fit. Not recommended.

I don't think these boxers are nearly as bad as other reviewers make them to be. The fit may be a bit different compared to what people are used to. These boxers are sort of like boxer briefs, but not really. They are a bit short, but I don't find that to be a problem. They get looser with movement and don't fit tight like boxer briefs, but they aren't overly baggy like regular boxers. I would say these are more like super 'fitted' boxers. I do love merino wool though.

comfortable but a bit loose

these are very comfortable and the fabric feels nice, but they fit more like boxers rather than boxer briefs. the fabric loosens up pretty quickly with lot of motion, making them uncomfortable to wear when playing sports. i'm still pretty happy with them and they are easy to wash and dry quickly.
