4.0 out of 5 stars
Used shoe for Orienteering,
This review is from: Icebug Men's Sisu Olx Trail Running Shoe (Apparel)
Basically I like the shoes but they are wide. I've thought about getting a womens shoe next time thinking they would be narrower but haven't done that yet. When I'm orienteering I wear active ankles too so the extra width helps with that.
so far I have used them for 2 trail races and 5 orienteering sessions (3 when the woods were soaking wet). They are more comfortable than my VJ's and seem to be holding up fine. They have the little steel studs in the rubber cleat including one stud right under the arch that helps when steping on those wet, slippery logs. They couldn't get traction one time going up a particularily steep bank in the rain but my VJ's might have had the same problem. Just had to switch to a bit of a diagional incline instead of going straight up. I would probably give the shoe 5 stars except for the wide feel. |
