This were everything I had hoped for, perfect for the cold Michigan winters. They keep my feet warm and dry plus provide traction on the icy roads and trails. Every runner should have a pair for winter training.

I took these out for a test today, despite the fact that we don't have ice yet, they are my favorite running shoe. I was afraid the cleats would feel akward. They were very comfortable. My feet were dry and warm despite running through puddles, and a crisp 35degree temp. I can't wait to try these shoes jogging on the ice. Love these shoes.

These shoes are fine for walking in the snow and ice. AS for running, they are heavier than the running shoes I am used to and find that I tend not to wear them. If you are a person who likes to walk outside in the winter then these are perfect. They keep your feet warm and dry and keep you from slipping. If you are a runner, I suggest you buy the type of grips that fit over your regular running shoes and invest in some wool socks for warmth and dryness.

These have great traction. I have run in them to about 0 degrees but sometimes get a little cold even with heavy smartwool socks. You can feel the cleats through the insole a little but it isn't too bad.
