I love these shoes! I use them primarily for orienteering, but have also used them trail running (they're great for muddy terrain). They are somewhat heavier than other shoes, but are well worth the extra weight in muddy or off-trail conditions. They've also been great in snow/ice, although I haven't had much need for that.
