This is a very cool-looking cup...sleek and attractively built, and I love the "frosted" appearance and the fact and it's double-walled for insulation.

There are a few problems that keep this from being a more practical product, though. The spout occasionally makes a hissing sound when you're drinking, the lid doesn't screw on very easily and it can leak a little if it's not kept upright. The shape is also a little unwieldy for car cup holders, as its considerable height (over 9") and narrow shape don't make it an ideal driving companion.

I like that the straw separates from the lid...but other than that, it's kind of tough to clean. This is, again, due to the size and shape of the cup, which is probably too tall for most top-rack dishwashers and it's tough to clean by hand if you don't have a bottle brush.

If you're using this exclusively at home or in the office, it'll be fine for the most part. If you're looking for something more portable, this probably isn't it. It's also pretty expensive for what you get (insert Starbucks joke here), but I found this at a closeout store for $8 so I'm happy with it for the price.

This product is visually very cute, but unfortunately, it's just not very well designed. It makes a loud hissing sound when drinking from it, so loud that the person in the next cubicle thought I was using a can of compressed air. More of a problem is the spout. I've gotten splashed on at least 2 separate occasions while trying to drink from this. Any sudden movement will force liquid in the tube to spill out the spout due to siphon action. How sudden? I had orange juice in it and reached over about two feet for a drink from desk to mouth. Juice gushed out and got juice all over my shirt and keyboard. If you plan on using this in a moving vehicle, my suggestion is to have the spout down or avoid this product altogether.

Anything under pressure will also shoot out the spout once raised. I mixed some mildly carbonated powdered lemon-aid in here and unexpectedly got squirted in the eye. Not recommended.

I bought this as a replacement for my wifes previous shaker (same type) that broke when dropped. She had the original for over a year and loved and used it all the time so when I say the lid part with the threads was cracked and leaking I thought I was doing the right thing by buying her another and surprising her with it...lol...turns out she didn't want another because the stupid thing cracks around the lid VERY easily and then it starts to leak.
Oh well...you know what they say..no good deed goes unpunished....

This is a great water bottle and it is cool looking. However, be cautious of dropping it, because one drop might make the glass break and it is bye bye water bottle.

I loved this product and bought many as drops break the tumbler. Other tumblers either are missing the fold down straw feature or use those latex-like rubber mouth pieces that I find taste bad.

Now I pair my previously discarded Starbucks lids with straw to Contigo's 20 oz double walled Shake and Go tumbler. Contigo states that its tumbler is dishwasher safe and guaranteed. I let the straw bend in the slightly shorter (but same fluid oz) Contigo tumbler until I trimmed just a liile off the top of the straw. The screw lid fits once it's lined up right.

I had added Juniorbeads Skinny Charles Jr bangle to my Starbucks tumbler in past attempts to pad from breakage. These teething rings fit the Contigo tumbler nicely and help with gripping it.

Perhaps these are extreme measures but I like the Starbucks lid and the Contigo tumblers. With this extra effort, this fix works for me and remains sustainable.

I got the same exact cup at a Starbucks in Mexico and I love it. Don't drop it or it will break. But great for water! The lid is great with the spout covered.
