I really like this light. It is a tad pricey, I'll grant, but it's worth it. The LED elements are recessed, so the light goes straight down to where you want it. And since it swivels every which way, you can direct that light anywhere you want. The four brightness settings give a useful range of illumination. Since it uses LEDs, there is practically no waste heat. And it looks good. I've had a lot of desk lamps over the years. This is by far the best one.
