Leopards, Oracles and Long Horns is a collection of epic tales from three West African tribes dwelling primarily within the bounds of Nigeria: the Edo of the ancient Kingdom of Benin, the Yoruba of the Oyo Kingdom and the Hausa of Hausaland. These traditional stories of kings, queens, chiefs, and ordinary citizens have been collected by Nigerian poet chichi layor and presented in short, sprightly poems full of description of West African life, past and present.
