Ichigo Tensa Manga Full Functional Sword

This is a must have for any Bleach fan. Blade came with a display stand and decorative box. The sword itself is a high carbon steel (1045-1060). Blade is only somewhat sharp but could certainly be sharpened with any sword sharpening kit. The chain on the end of the Tsuka is metal, and even has the last encroachment link from Ichigo's... well you know what happen.

Excellent balance and weight. Tsuba is metal, all fittings are nice and tight.

Anyway, very happy with this product. High amount of detail and full functionality. THE must have for any cosplayer, enthusiast or collector.

Great Sword! it is indeed 1060 steel as advertised. it's not razor sharp, but it is still sharp enough to cut through things...yet safe to the delicate finger for cleaning purposes. don't touch a 1060 steel blade, or keep it sheathed for long periods of time, or you will risk it rusting or leaving marks. they require maintenance and oil periodically. be sure to take care of it, it's a quality product. It's very accurate and all metal, down to the hilt and chain ending in a half-link at the end.

First off this is a beautiful sword have no doubt about that. There are only two gripes (and are rather trivial) that I have about it and are the only reason it gets a 4 instead of a 5.

1) "China" is written on the blade in some yellow ink.
2) The use of plastic for the "fuchi" and "kashiri."

As for everything else this is a great sword and definitely worth it. I love this sword it makes a great addition to my meager collection and looks great. As for the "china" and the plastic for the price and surprising quality it's quite easily ignorable.

+Pros:
1. It came in a beautiful case. The thing is beautifully well designed on the outside with red dragons.
2. The sword itself looks like an amazing duplicate (not the actual size of Ichigo's sword; it is regular sized katana)
3. Gloss on the sword makes it superb. It has a nice sheen to it.
4. I quite enjoy the level of detail in the making of the sword.
5. The sword feels great when I hold it in my hands. It is quite sturdy, and one can feel the great quality.
6. It is SHARP. The sword comes sharpened, but there is potential to sharpen it even more. An apple can be easily cut into half with hardly any effort put into it. The tip of the sword is the sharpest part. Be wary of handing the sword to children.
7. This is an overall an amazing deal. It would be sin to pass this up.

-Cons:
1. A made in CHINA logo is found on the sword. Since the sword is black and the CHINA logo is gold, it sticks out, though, the lettering is small. Someone standing 10-15' away may not be able to see it.
2. The sheath is made of ply wood on the inside, so when putting the sword back in, the tip of the sword accidentally chips away at the plywood leaving pieces of wood on the sword.
3. This sword is not full tang. You can see the wood markings on the handle.
4. The inside of the case was poorly designed. Often threading comes loose, and I swear there is Styrofoam under the silk lining.

Other thoughts: Ichigo's bankai zanpaktu is a great item to show off to your friends. I often find myself walking around the house holding the zanpaktu because it just feels so amazing to hold it. The quality on the sword is very nice. The cons are not really cons, but they are things to make the review a more justified look. Be careful of swinging the sword as the chain at the end of the sword will often hit you. It doesn't hurt, but it can be bothersome.

Yes. I would recommend you to buy this sword. At this price, this zanpaktu is an amazing deal. Do NOT pass it up.

wow-this item came super fast!only 5 days from the keyboard to my hands.well packaged and arrived with no damage to inner or outer box.the red brocade sword box is lovely and the sword itself is just wonderful. seems to be straight and the sheath fits snugly over the sword just the way you would want it to. i'm no expert so i looked over all of the bleach sword options fo a present for my 18 yr old son.this seemed to fit the need best as it is very reasonably priced and is a real full tang carbon blade sword.i wanted him to have something that was not only beautiful to hang on the wall of his room, but that he could clean and disassemble and possibly even modify if he wanted to.while not ultra sharp,i'm sure it could be made so without ruining all of the finsh if it were taken to perhaps a gun smith.i suppose if the need ever arose it could be used for defense of your home.this is not a toy-nor did i buy it with that in mind.there is a small china logo on the blade,but it's small.some gun black and laquer would probably take care of that.compared to what you get in quality and function for this price range in other bleach swords - i'll take this one hands down.you can swing it around,cut milk jugs,and practice forms with it.i'm sure it would stand up to some cutting and hacking too-but who would want to?it's way too cool to do that to. i recommend this for anyone over 16.

I bought this as a gift for my brother and he loved it. It's good quality and the Price was Awesome. Looks just like Ichigo's Bankai.

First off The packing is awesome it comes in a beautiful silk red and black case and is wrapped nicely. The sword and sheath are gorgeous it comes fully oiled and is pretty sharp the only bad thing Ill say is that the chain at the bottom of the sword interferes and hits your arm while swinging it around but besides that its perfect for the price.

This is one of the best replicas that I have seen of any swords, and because of this I can tell you that this a must buy for fans of the manga or anime Bleach. The only reason that I rule out sword collectors is that the paint can come off if you hit it against objects. The guard, bladed, and chain is all painted black. The guard holder is high color brass and the symbol on the handle is probably brass. The grip is very well made and very sturdy. The only bad thing I found about this is that sometime the maker accidently puts dents or bends on the guard.

This sword is an excellent replica. My fiancee got it for me as a Christmas present. When it came in I was the one who answered the door and was like wtf is this giant package lol. Anywho when she had me open it is was extremely pleased with the overall quality and also the attention to detail that went into this. Though i would not say that this is Razor sharp as stated in the description i'm not too worried about it because i can always sharpen it. Now I'm going to say that I don't know all the different names for the different parts but the only things that i could find odd (like other reviewers) is that why have everything metal and then the end piece (where the chain connects)and also the piece immediately after the tsuba plastic? Personally for me though this is not a big deal though because they do not detract from the overall appearance of the sword. overall love it and will probably see if this company makes the Shikai version (preferably full size) and make another purchase with then.

EDIT: after a few days of having this now i've noticed that the metal just above the tsuba is becoming loose. This is just from taking the sword out of the sheath a few times. not going to change the rating however as even still excellent replica.

I just recieved my sword and I want to say that I LOVE YOU GUYSSSSSS!!!! It was my first internet purchase and I was pretty nervous... First of all I want to thank you about the super fast shipping! When I was told that I recieved a parcel of about 44 inches long waiting for me I just couldnt believe it was here... I am from Greece and it only took 8 days to arrive its destination... Just superb! The product is great! I just love the way it looks... I would say it appears just like the one in the series! It is heavy enough, the lenght is suitable (no flismy blade)... Everything is perfect! Even the last broken chain is in place! The only problem was that the guard was a bit bent... But that was no problem because it was easy to make it just like it was in the beginning and I dont think it was the manufacturer's fault... The packaging was just perfect (I loved ripping off the 2 boxes before reaching the sword's gift box... I just want to say a big thank you to Top Swords for their awesome job! Be certain that if I ever want to buy another sword you will be the first I will turn to!
