Exelent kind of Metal, November 7, 2001
This review is from: Ichor (Audio CD)
If you are looking for true metal and not the Mtv comercial waste, this is an almbum you must have. It has all you want in a metal album: - Very strong lyrics. - Heavy music, but intelligent. - Exelent musicians and tecnical rifts. I must say that sentenced is one of my favorite bands in the world, so for me this album and band have been an exelente purshase. This is a band i don't recomend for beginners because it have lots of things that are a little dificult to understand. But if you are willing to take the chance... come on do it.

Superlative Metal!!!, December 1, 2003
This review is from: Ichor (Audio CD)
4.5 stars. From the very first spin it was excitingly obvious that I was listening to a band pushing the threshold of Heavy Metal as far as humanly possible. This is classic Heavy Metal mixed with some very interesting progressive songwriting. There is an aggressive darkness within the music that resonates in my mind for hours afterward, an ensuing addiction provokes me to play the album again and again. These guys are at the peak of modern Heavy Metal and worthy of even the most discriminate Metal Head. This makes a solid edition to my collection; and it stands proudly, fists raised to the heavens!!!

jarva is back!!!!, February 15, 2001
This review is from: Ichor (Audio CD)
taneli jarva (ex sentenced) has the greatest voice in the metal world, and i was in shock when he left sentenced... he also quit impaled nazarene, so it was like he was dead... now he came back with his new project and in addition with kimmo luttinen (ex impaled nazarene) who is one of the best drummers in metal. ichor is more a progressive hard rock album than a metal one. best tracks: the intro (doomwatcher), one colour:black, bunker king, Avalon, We Die Alone, Ecce Homo!, Night On Earth.
