This is another book I've recommended in my parenting guide (Kindergarten Simplified), not just for the educational value, but for the illustrations and playfulness that parents will also enjoy.

If one author has really made an impression on my 3 yr old son it is Jerry Palotta. His books are informative, funny, easily digestible and most have fantastic illustrations. He also has a great way of including hidden numbers or words on many of the pages. You will enjoy these books as much as your kids!!
