Obscure 80's band that should have had MUCH more airplay, February 10, 2006
This review is from: Icon (Audio CD)
I first "heard" this band when MTV actually played a video for "On Your Feet". I thought they kind of looked like clowns, but something about the vocals and the guitar work caught my ear, so I went and bought the Album (yes, vinyl). I was wrong, man was I ever wrong. Every member of this band was about as good as it gets as far as talent is concerned. And together they made a very mighty band, on recordings and live!
Sure some of their lyrics were a little cheesy, but anyone who doesn't at least tap your foot or drum your leg or Bang Your HEAD! at the opening of "Under My Gun", sorry but you're just not hearing what I'm hearing. I still listen to this CD/Album to this day,and "Under My Gun" is in my alarm clock and wakes me up every day. Some people like to wake up to birds chirping or something like that. Uh-uh, give me thundering drums any day. If you can afford it, buy this, NOW! Peace!

Very Heavy!!!, July 21, 2005
This review is from: Icon (Audio CD)
Very heavy with melody and emotion with some awesome guitar work. These guys really put alot of feel, atmosphere and emotion on this one and is one of my favorite albums of all time.
Luckily, I have this one and their other two albums on vinyl. Too bad these guys from Arizona, USA never got a wider recognition because they were killer and much better than some of the so called other glam rockers such POISON, WARRANT, CINDERELLA, RATT, MOTLEY CRUE, WINGER and I will stop with the carnage right there even though I can probably go on with the axe.
If you are a fan of power-rock/metallic glam rock, this should be in your collection.
