There are a few tracks on this album I don't much care for but overall it's pretty damn awesome. The first song, Endzeit, is one of the best metal songs I've heard in quite some time. Without going into too much detail, if you like metal with harsh vocals and minus the overkill keyboards and power metal elements this should be right on the money.

Granted, I have not been listening to deathcore as a subgenre for a long period of time, but Heaven Shall Burn is the best I have heard so far. 'Iconoclast' is certainly no exception.

German powerhouse Heaven Shall Burn has produced a memorable album in Iconoclast. Many will label this band as metalcore, but it is metalcore and so much more, if you'll forgive the rhyme. All of the songs are heavy and brutal in the nasty way that metal should be. The drumming is tight, and just enough melody peeks through the blinding storm of aggression while not dominating the album.

There are no clean vocals here. Just relentless, harsh screams and growls. This blows traditional metalcore out of the water. Listen to it. You will like it.

Ive been a fan of Heaven Shall Burn ever since I heard The Weapon They Fear. I loved the song and bought the cd right away. I really dont listen to them often but I do buy all there cds for some reason. This cd is all the way thru-awesome. The only problem with the cd is the last two songs are instrumentals, which is kind of stupid. I wont be like most reviewers and take a star away for it. This cd is too great. Highly recommended and I hope to see them on tour.

Heaven shall burn is awesome mixing death metal/metalcore/and melodic deathcore is just awesome.These guys rule one of the heaviest in metal you will love this no matther what is heavy loud fast and brilliant.German metal rules also rammstein,heaven shall burn is the metalcore version of them probably cause they're german and they were influenced by them even tough they aren't similair,and if you seen their video for endzeit you will see something similair to rammstein the video not the song.But anyway this is just awesome the screams are freakin awesome loud as hell kinda like jacob from converge sort of only longer.The songs are brutal there's not much to say but that is heavy and really AMAZING!

Heaven Shall Burn's Iconoclast is one of their best cds since Antigone. they stick with the metalcore and it just sounds great. i recomend this cd to anybody whos a fan of there work and those who havent heard of them yet.

I recently heard a few of Heaven Shall Burns older songs and something about these guys made them stick out from the rest. In my opinion their newest album is their best yet. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys any sort of hard rock.

This has to be one of the best albums I have heard. If you are into metal and have never heard of this band you should definitely pick this album up. I guarentee you will buy the rest of their albums.
