Is Gruesome Good?,
By "chiro83" (California) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Ida B. Wells-Barnett: Crusader Against Lynching (African-American Biographies (Raintree Paperback)) (Library Binding)
This is a highly colorful life story of Ida B Wells. However, some pictures are quite gruesome. One depicts four African Americans hanging form a tree, dead. I would not let anyone under 4th grade read it (uness they are geniuses or something)I reccommend this book for students in 5th to 8th grade.
