5.0 out of 5 stars For once an As Seen On TV product that actually works!
I did not buy this from the commercial, I actually purchased it from a local pharmacy in town, and for only like $10. The set included 6 strap concealers and that special body sticky tape, which I have yet to use. The set of 6 come in 3 colors-nude, clear, and black.

Now first off, let me start by saying that it's not as quick and easy as it appears on TV...

1.0 out of 5 stars "perfect" my a**!
I saw the infomercial for this and thought it was a great idea. Not only did it claim to move your straps for wearing certain looks, it would improve your posture and "keep the girls in place" ---- nothing could be farther from the truth. First, it's insanely uncomfortable to put on. NO matter which way you try, it's a bear to get on. Then there is the discomfort while...

5.0 out of 5 stars For once an As Seen On TV product that actually works!, March 5, 2009
I did not buy this from the commercial, I actually purchased it from a local pharmacy in town, and for only like $10. The set included 6 strap concealers and that special body sticky tape, which I have yet to use. The set of 6 come in 3 colors-nude, clear, and black.

Now first off, let me start by saying that it's not as quick and easy as it appears on TV. Maybe after practice it can get much quicker, but for me, the first time around took a few minutes to get it right. Anyway, the way it actually works is that you have to first loosen your bra straps a good deal so it has enough give when you pull them back. Which makes sense, it's just a bit of a pain to keep fixing the straps all the time.

After you are able to put the Strap Perfect on, you can adjust it up and down your back, to whatever height you want. Even with the bra straps loosened, it's still a little tight, but I didn't really care because it worked! It completely hid my straps, like it said, even with a tank top. And the sturdy plastic Strap Perfect didn't even stick out on my back-it was barely visible. And yes, you do get a decent lift from it.

I have yet to try it with various stypes of shirts, but with a plain tank top-it worked perfectly; not a strap in sight! Like I mentioned, it can get a tad uncomfortable, but it's nothing any girl can't deal with.

Even with the minor negatives, I am giving this 5 stars because the product works as advertised. I think it's an awesome idea and will come in great use for the summer months.

Then there is the discomfort while wearing it. I still have chafing on my back between my shoulders! It also causes your bra to "pooch out" under the clip, so if you're wearing something sleek, you have a giant lump on your back. Last time I wore it - which was only the second time - I had the pleasure of having it break as I bent over. Granted, I am well endowed in the boobage, but this was the first time I had worn the clear version - the first time - and it cracked under pressure. Since this happened in public, I will leave the visuals to your imagination. BOO on strap perfect. Gals, don't waste your money!

5.0 out of 5 stars great product!! awesome support, March 8, 2009
Ok I've always been incredibly skeptical of TV products so it took me a long time to actually decide to purchase this. I did purchase from their website and so I paid more than I needed to but I didn't want to go on a hunt for this in stores. If you can easily avoid it, don't buy from their site because they try to get you to upgrade a few times but other than that the transaction was smooth. Now for the review...

I bought this partially because of the fact that I have a few halter top shirts but mostly because I have a hard time finding supportive bras since I was blessed/cursed with size D. This clip is fantastic and instantly transformed a bra that was rapidly losing support into one of the most comfortable bras I have ever worn. The money I will save by not having to constantly search for new bras with the support I need makes this purchase completely worth it. I don't have any problems getting the clip on and in fact the first time took maybe 30 seconds to 1 minute to get situated how I wanted it. Keep in mind though that I'm somewhat flexible so reaching behind to put the clip on was not difficult at all. It was a little tight at first until I read that you should loosen the straps first and after that it's incredibly comfortable and I forget I'm wearing it.

I gave it a little test by wearing a normal bra and Strap Perfect and then running in place for 10 minutes, something I NEVER could do comfortably with a normal bra for long. I had no problems whatsoever and now I've been going around telling my family they need to try this out. As for the lift it provides, given my cup size I didn't want too much lift and luckily it only provides a very subtle lift so that's great too. Finally, I've always had problems with my straps falling off my shoulders and this completely solves that so no more having to figure out stealthy ways to slide my bra strap up while I'm sitting at my desk at work.

If you're like me and have issues finding supportive bras, this is a must have. It will definitely save you money by prolonging the life of your bras.

I like this product for keeping my bra straps up. It gives a slight lift and enhances cleavage, but I don't notice a full cup size difference. As a bonus, it forces me to keep my shoulder back, improving my posture without restricting my movement like the posture correcting devices did. I have been wearing this daily since I got it. I threw out the posture correcting device because it was painful and restricting. Strap Perfect is small, lightweight, undetectable under clothing, easy to put on, and remove. It comes in black, nude, and clear - two of each color. The only down side is your bra straps will be closer to your neck and easier to see if you wear a t-shirt neckline. Recommend this product!

3.0 out of 5 stars safety pin, August 14, 2010
By
HI I JUST WANTED TO SAY, THERE IS NO NEED TO PURCHASE AN ITEM LIKE THIS. I TAKE A LARGE SAFETY PIN AND I PIN IT IN THE BACK OF MY BRA SO THE STRAPS STAY TOGETHER AND I GET THE SAME AFFECT. IM NOT TRYING TO BE NEGATIVE OR TAKE AWAY FROM THE BEAUTY OF THE PRODUCT, BUT IF YOU WANT ANOTHER INEXPENSIVE ALTERNATIVE TRY PINNING YOUR BRA STAPS TOGETHER IN THE BACK. USE ONE OF THE LARGE SAFETY PINS.

1.0 out of 5 stars Hump back, May 15, 2009
By
I rushed out and purchased this and tried it on with various shirts.

There are three main problems with this item:

1.) you probably have to buy a new bra so that you get one with straps that you can let out enough. My standard bra was too tight even after letting the straps out all the way. It made it extremely tight. And you have to tighted the bra hooks due to the fact that it will sag in the back since you pulled the straps close together.

2.) The item protrudes out of the small of your back when you lean over. It sits in the small of your back for most shirts and is great if you never lean over. It will leave people wondering why you have a hump back there. I do not ear tight clothes so I was shocked that it was so noticable. Maybe it should be more flexible to help this. It was not bendable at all so you can shape it to you better.

3.) Now you have a strap problem in the front. The straps were way up on my neck and I had to tuck them in over and over. I adjusted where I could and it was still a problem.

Try it but be forwarned. It is not easy to put on like they show on t.v. and it can be uncomforable. You would be 100% better off buying a multipurpose bra with straps you can move around.

1.0 out of 5 stars Could have been a five..., March 22, 2009
This review is from: Idea Village Strap Perfect, Assorted Colors, 6 ct. (Misc.)
Love the lift it gives. If you loosen your straps it doesn't hurt your back. I was all excited about it, and since the box had 6 strap clips, I gave one to two of my friends--within 10 minutes one broke on my friend. I figured she must have bent it trying to take it off since she said it hurt her back (like I said, you have to loosen your straps for it to be comfortable). When I got home, I noticed hairline fractures in mine. I wore a new one to a big social event and the thing broke after 3 hours. What a rip off. If they were made with better material, I would have given it a five.

1.0 out of 5 stars I really wanted to love these!, September 30, 2009

I had such high hopes for these clips. No matter the style or fit of the bra, my straps always slip. I thought these would be the perfect solution for this constant and unattractive problem. To put it mildly, I was seriously disappointed.

The biggest issue right off the bat is attaching it. I have to agree with everyone that said it's not as easy as it looks. You practically need to be a contortionist!

Once you're successful, it's very uncomfortable. It forces your shoulders back, which is fine when you want good posture - either sitting or standing. But it does not allow for comfortable normal movement.

And even if you manage to get it on and get used to the feel of it, it requires a bra with really long straps. Otherwise, it will ride up in back, which not only looks ridiculous, but adds to the discomfort.

I wish I'd saved my money.

2.0 out of 5 stars Ouch!!, April 28, 2010
Why are these made of hard plastic?? They hurt like heck by digging into your back. If they had been a softer more pliable material, they would have been great. They work excellent in providing extra lift, but they just hurt too bad for it to be worth the pain.

2.0 out of 5 stars a little disappointing, February 3, 2010

Unless the bra straps are unusually long or stretchy, this strap solution leaves something to be desired. Many times I find the straps too close to my neck when I am wearing a open neck shirt or blouse and then they show or the strain on the straps stretches them in a way that is uncomfortable to wear. Also for just a piece of formed plastic, I find them overpriced. They probably only cost 10 or 15 cents apiece to produce.
