This album was a surprise. I have liked enough of Van She, but this album is thorough. It is much more energetic, heavier on the music itself, and much more "fun". They truly show they can stick with a theme. I bought tickets to their show, before even giving this a listen... like I said quite the surprise, and will be the best value I will probably ever get for a concert, next to free.

I've been a fan of Modular Records for quite some time now. LOVE EVERYTHING THEY PUT OUT. Cut Copy, the Presets. Tame Impala, Canyons and of course Van She. Seems they really have an act for picking talent over there. anyways, I really enjoyed VAN Shes last album but i felt they could be so much better. Didnt even realize they had a new album until i stumbled upon a new song "Jamaica" on youtube. I couldnt believe it was them. The tropical sound to it almost sounded like something Cut Copy would make. Anyways bought the album and i absolutely love it. LOVE the theme of the album. The production on the album is top notch. the beats are really cool. Summer, island vibes all around. The synths are real cool and smooth. LOVE YOU MODULAR RECORDS!!!!
