Before buying the telemaster I used a cheap $20 no name crimp tool. 50% of the crimps I made would fail on 2 or 3 pairs. I thought it was my technique, but now know it was the cheap tool. This thing crimps right the first time, every time. Also keep in mind that this is not the "ratcheting" type crimper, but it still works great none the less.
