This play was short but interesting. It kept me interested the entire time. I loved the character development and I really came to care about each one of them. I would definitely recommend this book.

I found this book so easy to read - plenty of humour - interesting and intelligent views made by Oscar Wilde in this book. I can just imagine every scene - especially when Goring has everyone arriving unexpectedly at his home. Very though provoking... As are all of Wildes works."No one should be entirely judged by their past".

'An Ideal Husband' while funny wasn't quite as easy as many of his other books. You had to pay attention and follow the by-play in order to get it. There were always quite a few characters introduced right away and it was a bit difficult to keep them straight as I read.

Typical Wilde Stuff,

Wilde fans will like it. It is short and maybe a little forced but clever and fun. If you are not sure if you like Wilde's style, you should probably go ahead and read this. If you don't like Wilde, you probably can't read anyway.
